Specializing in large weddings, elopements, private weddings and wedding vow renewals, Chapel in the Pines will ensure your wedding day is tailored to your specific tastes and needs. We simplify the wedding process by considering each and every detail with unyielding attention to guarantee your wedding day runs as flawlessly as possible.

Below outlines a three step process for selecting your wedding ceremony and reception needs. Beginning with the wedding and reception venue rental packages, followed by the bar packages, and finally the selection of a licensed caterer.

Step One
Select rental package

Choose from one of the following packages to best suit the needs of your wedding. Banquet hall rental includes chair and table setup, table cloths, and final clean up.

The time frame for a typical Friday and Saturday night wedding ceremony and reception is:

4:30 arrive for use of the bridal cottage.
5:30 wedding ceremony begins
6:00 guests enter banquet hall
6:00 open bar begins
10:30 bar closes
11:00 music stops
12:00 lights out.

Above are the typical hours, you may purchase additional time in the banquet hall. We do vary from the times on a case by case basis during non peak wedding dates.

*If Sunday falls on Labor Day weekend or Memorial Day weekend, the fee is the same as a Saturday.
**Saturdays in 2013 for the months May, June, September, and October add $200.
***Saturday night wedding receptions occurring May through October must be ceremony and reception.

Step Two

Select bar package

MVP Sports Club of Sycamore is the exclusive liquor provider for the banquet hall. MVP Sports Club has been catering alcohol packages for weddings since 2005. They provide licensed and professional bartending services by Bassett certified bartenders. For questions, please contact Jill Selimbegovic at (815) 508-8008 or rcsycamore@gmail.com. Packages can be customized.

The following packages provide bar services for four and half hours.

Premium Package $21.50/guest

  • Complimentary soda and juice
  • Unlimited bottled beer, wine and premium mixed drinks
  • Complimentary champagne toast for all guests
  • Two signature drinks

House Package $17.00/guest

  • Complimentary soda and juice
  • Unlimited bottled beer, wine and house mixed drinks
  • Two signature drinks
  • Premium mixed drinks will be available for purchase
  • Champagne toast available for an additional $1.00.guest

Basic Package $15.50/guest

  • Complimentary soda and juice
  • Unlimited bottled beer and wine
  • Premium mixed drinks will be available for purchase
  • Champagne toast available for an additional $1.00/guest

Package pricing includes Liquor License, County Insurance, Set up and Clean up of bar area, and bar staff. Package pricing includes sales tax. Cups, straws, napkins and garnishes provided. Additional bar staff $50/each. A $300 deposit is required at the time of booking. Checks should be made payable to MVP's. Credit card payments will be subject to a 3% processing fee. Final payment and final head count is required no later than 7 days prior to the scheduled event.

Step Three

Select caterer

You may choose your preferred licensed caterer. Menu options generally range from $10 to $30 per guest. Nat's on Maple and Sweet Dreams Desserts have catered countless wedding reception events in our banquet hall; both are very familiar with the set up and use of our space.
